I love having music at my fingertips with the Rock Paper Trimmer!  Being able to plug in an mp3 player and not have to fuss with wires or get up to change music is truly an innovative feature in a tool.  The convenience and sheer fun of it are by far good reasons to add this trimmer to your collection of Fiskars Tools.  I found the trimmer easy to work with in creating this card with a woven mat that frames the flower and sentiment on the card’s front.  And like Fiskars’ other trimmers, the Rock Paper Trimmer has an assortment of blades such as the Scallop Blade shown in the bottom detail of the card.

Instructions (Print version)

1. Create a 5 ½” x 7 ½” card from white cardstock; once folded - Corner Squeeze Punch all four corners of the card and set aside.
2. Cut 2 – 5” x 7” pieces of solid colored papers (contrasting colors will show best).
3. Cut ¼” strips across each piece in Step 2.  Note – do not cut to the very end of each piece.  Leave a 1” space at the end to keep strips in place.

4. Weave the two colored papers together.

5. Once weaving is complete, adjust strips to be as straight as possible and adhere a 4” x 5” piece of cardstock to the back to secure.
6. Machine stitch around border of woven mat and trim off excess ends.
7. Adhere mat to card front and apply Alpha Stickers for sentiment.
8. Squeeze Punch Daisies; layer; bend petals for dimension; apply center sticker and adhere above sentiment.

9. Squeeze Punch leaves and adhere just under edge of flower.
10. Cut strips of pattern and solid paper – use a decorative edge like the Scallop Blade – and adhere near bottom of card.
