Wedding Invitation (as seen on FiskarsTV)

This is one of the lovely pieces in the matching wedding set we demonstrated on the show.

• Required supplies:
• Cardstocks: lilac, white
• Rubber stamp ink – lilac
• Craft sponges
• Ribbon
• Adhesives
• Craft knife

Instructions (Print version)

1. Cut a piece of lilac cardstock to measure 12” X 6”.  Fold in half and score to create a 6” square card.
2. Print announcement onto vellum paper.  Create a rectangle piece of cardstock large enough to cover monogram on printed announcement.  Lay this rectangular piece down onto backside of front flap of card.  Trace along corners of rectangle template lightly using a pencil.
3. Insert card into paper trimmer so pencil lines are visible.  Using pencil lines as a guide, cut out window. 
4. Cut a piece of white cardstock paper to measure 5 ¾” square.
5. Rub craft sponge onto rubber stamp ink pad, then rub along edges of front flap of card.
6. Using craft knife, cut a small slit in spine of card to create an opening for ribbon tie.  Cut 2 pieces of ribbon to measure 16”.  Thread both pieces through slit in spine of card.  Lay ribbon down across inside of back cover.  Adhere 5 ¾” square piece of cardstock to inside of back cover, over ribbon.  Adhere vellum over white cardstock piece.  Wrap ribbon around card and tie in front.  Trim ends of ribbon as desired.
