Instructions (Print version) 1. Fold and Score 5x7 green cardstock base. Trim strip of brown polka Heidi Grace Designs paper and adhere to bottom of card.
2. Trim strip of green cardstock using Scallop Sentiment border punch along one edge, and then lightly sand scallops for distressed look. Adhere at the top of the brown polka paper. Gently pull up some scallops for added dimension. Trim thin strip of yellow cardstock and adhere over scallop strip.
3. Punch 6 “Making Waves” shapes from lighter green cardstock. “Rough them up” and distress using sand paper or a nail file. Sand the edges so that they become white and distressed. Arrange making wave shapes in pairs, with ends touching in each pair (as shown in photo) to form 3 swirls across card – and adhere. Add a rhinestone to each “wave”. 4. Punch Soleil shape from yellow cardstock. Punch pop up circle from orange cardstock and adhere to middle of Soleil shape. Adhere your “sun” to the top left corner of your card using foam adhesive. 5. Rub phrases “sunny days” onto orange cardstock and “are here to stay!” onto yellow cardstock – trim into strips and use Round the Bend corner rounder on top left corner of each strip. Arrange and adhere to side of card.
