I love having a stash of “everyday” cards made up...they’re really perfect for brightening a friend’s day. I thought this friendship card would also be a great use for this large text stamp. Using the stamp & embossing powder, I was able to let the text block become the central focus…so I didn’t even need to choose a specific sentiment. I added even more texture with a layered flower in the corner of the card. I think I’ll slip a coffeeshop giftcard inside…guaranteed to make a friend smile!

3. Start with a 5” x 5” cardstock base. Round bottom corners with Fiskars Round the Bend corner punch.
4. Trim a square of patterned paper to approximately 4.75” x 4.75. Round all corners. Adhere to card base
5. Trim a square of cardstock to 4.5” x 4.5”. Stamp image using embossing ink. I used the text block stamp from the Heidi Grace Sweetest Bug collection.
6. Sprinkle embossing powder over stamped image, and heat with heat gun.
7. Let dry, and adhere to patterned paper.
8. Create a base for the flower using Fiskars Seal of Approval squeeze punch.
9. Create flower by trimming a strip of cardstock (approx 10” x 1.5”), then punching one edge with Fiskars Scallop Sentiments border punch. Fold accordion-style to the width of each scallop. Attach ends together with strong adhesive, forming the flower. Adhere to base using a large glue dot.
10. Attach a button to the center of the flower.
