Instructions (Print version)
For the Winter Wishes accent and tag I used Li’l Davis Designs’ new ‘Tis the Season collection. I cut circles using the Ultra ShapeXpress and the Circle Shape Template as well as Fiskars Squeeze Punches and new Scalloped Squeeze Punch - Seal of Approval. Layer the circles; apply rub-ons, a Frosted Acetate snowflake and mini brads. Then paint a craft stick (I have so many of these from my rub-on packages!) and adhere it to the back of the accent. For this set, I made a simple tag and added ribbon. Write or print out a sentiment or message to add to the accent and tag. ![]() ![]() The Merry Christmas cottage accent and card using Cloud 9 Designs’ new Christmas Joy collection are a bit more involved with paper piecing and stamping, but still make a quick project. For the accent, cut a 4” x 5” piece of paper as the base of the house. Use the Threading Water Border Punch and cut to 3/8”W x 12”L, then cut in half. Angle the strips to form a roof and cut off excess. Use Fiskars new Twist & Flip 2-in-1 Corner Punch to round the bottom of the house and the top of the door. Use small squares for windows. Stamp “Merry Christmas” and wreath on white cardstock; trim and adhere to house. Apply clear stickers for additional embellishment. For the card, make a 4 ½” x 5” card from white cardstock. Cover the card front with patterned paper and round the top corners of the card. Create a smaller (2”x 3”) house in a similar fashion, but use the Scallop Rotary Blade to create the roof. Add the stamped sentiment and Sparkle Accent Stickers to complete.
