Stamped Heart Instructions: 1. Cut two pieces of muslin (white cotton fabric) to about 6” square. Iron fusible interfacing (medium weight) to each piece of muslin. Work with the two pieces of muslin wrong sides together. 2. Lightly trace heart template onto one side of the muslin with a pencil (not to worry you will stitch over the pencil markings). 3. Stamp a repeating design with Kimberly Poloson Words & Wimsy floral stamp. Try Fiskars NEW gold pigment ink for a rich look. You will need to repeat the design about ½” outside of the pencil markings as shown.
 4. Stitch along the penciled line with 3 strands of dark green embroidery floss (using a running stitch); leave about 1” of the heart unstitched. 5. Trim around the stitched heart with pinking shears (about ½” outside of the stitched line). 6. Add stuffing to the heart a bit at a time. Use the stuffing tool on the 12-in-1 Sewing Tool to help fill the nooks and crannies of the heart.
7. Finish the remaining stitches and tie off the floss. 8. Use the Fiskars glue gun to add the remaining embellishments. I added silk holly leaves, a Heidi Grace glittered flower and a chipboard “J” for my sister (who will be receiving this)
 9. Use the Fiskars eyelet tools to set an eyelet in the top of the ornament; curly-q some wire beaded with pearls to add a sophisticated touch; attach through the eyelet.

Photo Tag Instructions: 1. Prepare a 3 1/2” x 4 1/2” piece of white muslin (white cotton fabric) and two 4 ¼” x 5 ¼” pieces of coordinating printed fabric by ironing fusible (medium weight) interfacing to their backsides. (This just adds some weight to the project and helps to keep the fabric from raveling). TIP: I use pre-cut “charm squares” for these types of projects. They are perfect when I need small bits of coordinating fabrics. They are usually sold in 40 pks. and vary in size. I love the 5” size. If you’re trimming your own fabric—remember the Desktop Rotary Trimmer is perfect for smallish pieces of fabric as well as paper. Use decorative blades to add a decorative touch. 2. Print wallet sized photo onto ink jet iron on transfer paper. Follow manufacturer instructions to transfer the photo to the prepared muslin piece (from step 1). Trim the edges of the muslin with Rotary Cutter using the pinking edge blade. 3. Stitch the photo to one of the printed fabric pieces- stitch right along edge of photo; go around the photo twice to make the red stitches really stand out. 4. With wrong sides together, stitch the two printed fabric pieces together with a ¼” seam. Trim around the stitched edge with Pinking Shears.
 5. Stitch four buttons in the four corners of the photo. 6. Create a hanger by tying one end of a length of embroidery floss to the top left corner button and then adding buttons (tied on with knots) intermittently as long as you would like to make the hanger. Secure the other end of the hanger to the right upper corner button.
 7. Finish the project with a jolly sentiment or a holiday wish…I used a Cloud 9 Epoxy sticker for my finishing touch. IDEA TO NOTE: You could always add more to these on the other side…you might want to add a holiday wish, the date or the kids’ ages.
