Designer: Stacey Kingman Did you know that you can still get paper bags at the grocery store? You have to ask for them...but when you have a bulky gift to wrap, it’s worth the little bit of trouble it takes to ask for a paper bag. This bag is perfect for an odd-shaped gift or just a great way to mix it up a little under the tree and make a change from the big square box. I love the way the silver ink I used here looks on this plain grocery bag – something about the solid kraft color with the shiny, metallic silver just says “I made this especially for you.” The round gift box also has a kraft background, but I made it a bit more more primitive with a torn fabric bow and a simple ornament on top. I am loving how easy it is to dress up the kraft paper with just a few great tools and some scrappy supplies!

Instructions
(Print version)
Bag: 1. Using the Push & Print Stamp Factory, Heidi Grace Christmas stamps, and silver ink, decorate the outside of a plain paper grocery bag.

2. Place gift in the bag, fold the top down 2 ½”. Cut patterned paper to 10 ½” X 6” and punch a border along the two long sides, and fold the patterned paper over the top. 3. Using a 30” piece of ribbon, tie the bag closed. Cut another 30” of ribbon and create a bow. Tie the bow to the ribbon at the top of the bag.
4. Using the Ultra ShapeExpress, cut a frame out of white cardstock and an oval out of patterned paper. Adhere rub-ons, hand write gift message, adhere to oval and attach to bag with Glue Dots. 5. Attach red buttons to the centers of snowflakes with Mini Glue Dots and attach Snowflakes to the bag. NOTE: I lightly inked the papers and snowflakes for a little bit of a vintage feel on this project.
Box: 1. Cut two strips of 2 ½” X 12” patterned paper, adhere around the center of the round box. 2. Cut two strips of ¾” X 12” red paper, punch with the Leave it to Weaver Border Punch, adhere around the lid of the box. 3. Using the Super Sized Circle Templates, cut a 5” circle, adhere to the box top. 4. Tear a 2” X 35” fabric strip, tie in a bow at the top. 5. Using the Christmas shape cutting template, cut an ornament, adhere the Cloud 9 Holly Sticker to it, punch a hole in the top, and tie onto the bow. You can put your to/from here. 6. Punch two XL Seal of Approval scalloped circles, ink lightly, and embellish with stickers.
