Monogram Booklet

Card measures 4” square and opens up. Two Ultra ShapeXpress cut rectangles are folded in half and glued together to make a tiny book that opens in the front.

- Fiskars Squares Template (3.5” x 3.5”)
- Fiskars Craft Mat
- Fiskars Letters -1 Template
- Fiskars Tape Runner
- K & Company Studio K Peach, Green, and Yellow Striped Flat Paper
- K & Company Studio K Teal Distressed Wood Flat Paper
- Other: white cardstock, burgundy chalk, green twill tape or ribbon (1/4”), sandpaper

- Note: Any letter could be cut as a monogram on the front to personalize
- Create a 4” square card from white cardstock with the fold on the left. Lightly chalk edges with burgundy chalk.
- Use the Ultra ShapeXpress, Craft Mat, and Squares Template to cut a 3.5” x 3.5” piece of Teal Distressed Wood paper.
- Place this piece face down on the Stones Texture Plate and use the Texturing Tool to emboss. (Tip: Emboss a large piece before cutting out square. Use a stylus to define embossing if needed and tape piece to plate to stabilize.)
- Lightly sand embossing to distress.
- Use the Rectangles Template to cut two 5” x 3” rectangles from the Striped paper.
- Fold both rectangles in half. Glue one flap of one rectangle on the top of one flap of the other rectangle, so both sides fold in to create a booklet.
- Adhere a piece of ribbon across lower front of card and adhere booklet over ribbon.
- Tie ribbon around booklet to keep closed.
- Use the Letters -1 Template to cut a monogram letter from white cardstock.
- Lightly chalk edges of letter with burgundy and adhere to front of card on the closed booklet.
