I've been scrapbooking for about 9 years but more seriously for the last 5. I love this hobby and everything that comes along with it. I want to thank May for allowing me to work with Fiskars this month. I just love Fiskars tools, I mean where would my scrapbooks be without my Desktop Rotary Trimmer? I don't even want to imagine such a thing. :) I also loooove the Fiskars squeeze punches. They have the best variety. My current fave is the new All A Flutter punch. It's so cute and it's the perfect size! Difficulty rating
Instructions (Print version) To make this layout I started with a sheet from Alyssa's Garden called Quilted Cluster, to add some dimension I layered over the paper where the flowers were a few Cardstock Glitter Shape Stickers from Alyssa's Garden.. I mounted my photo onto some card stock to make it pop and then for great detail I placed it on an Alyssa's Garden trancparency which I feel draws you into the photo and gives the layout glimmer.  For fun I used the paper packaging from the trancparency and cut out a heart shape free-hand using my Fiskars Classic No. 8 Scissors, then I added some buttons with embrodery floss and backed it with another heart cut from Alyssa's Garden Garden Notes cardstock, I added some Fiskars Adhesive foam to it and placed it near my photo. I also used some stickers from Reagan's Closet, placed them on cardstcok from Alyssa's Garden and cut them out, added some more foam adhesive and clustered them to the left of my photo. I used some Clear Sparkle Stickers to add a frame around all of my embellishing.
To finish off my layout I punched some butterflies out with the Fiskars Limited Edition All A Flutter punch, stamped them with Fiskars Zinnia Zing stamp, bent them a little to add dimension and glued them to my layout.  This card was so simple to put together. All I did was took a black card, got some matching cardstock used the Zinniz Zing stamp with some black ink and stamped all over it. Then I took the journaling card from the Alyssa's Garden Trancparency Pad used my Fiskars corner rounder, glued it to my stamped cardsock, sewed it to my black card, used a sticker from the Reagan's Closet sticker sheet, cut two squares one slightly bigger than the other stuck them all together using Fiskars foam adhesive, got some ribbon ties a bow and added a Hiedi Grace flower with a button in the middle and done!
