Don't let your kids bug you! Let them create their own bugs!

  • Required supplies:
  • red, black and green construction paper
  • glue
  • black magic marker
  • twig or small stick
  • tape

Instructions (Print version)

  1. Use FISKARS® paper Edgers Scallop LONG to cut out leaf from green construction paper.
  2. Use FISKARS® Kids Scissors to cut out six ladybug bodies from red construction paper. Display and glue ladybug bodies onto leaf as desired.
  3. Use FISKAR®S 1/4 Circle Hand Punch to punch out black circle from construction paper. Glue onto ladybugs as heads and to decorate bodies with characteristic spots.
  4. Use black magic marker to draw legs and antennas onto ladybugs.
  5. Write "Six red ladybugs eat one green leaf." on the bottom of leaf in black magic marker.
  6. Tape small stick or twig to back of leaf.
