Personalize your cards with initials!

Difficulty rating

• Required supplies:
• White cardstock
• Tan Cardstock
• Brown cardstock with a white core from Die Cuts with a View
• Harvest Plaid patterned paper by Colorbok (use both sides of paper)
• White string or crochet thread

Instructions (Print version)

1. Create a card from tan cardstock that measures 4 ¼” x 5 ½” with the fold at the left.
2. Cover the front of card with Harvest Plaid (plaid side) patterned paper (4 ¼”x 5 ½”).
3. Cut a 3 ½” x 4 ¼” piece of brown cardstock with a white core.
4. Use the large edge of the Zig-Zag Paper Tear Edger and tear about ½” off along long side of brown piece.  Adhere to bottom of card with zig-zag edge facing up.
5. Cut a 3 ½” x 4 ½” piece of Harvest Plaid (green side) patterned paper. 
6. Use the small side of the Zig-Zag Paper Tear Edger to tear ½” off long side of green piece. 
7. Wrap green piece several times around with white string and knot in front.  Adhere to bottom of card over bottom part of brown piece. 
8. Use the Ultra ShapeXpress, Craft Mat and Letters Template to cut out initials from white cardstock and adhere to top of card.

Option: Chalk edges of initials with brown chalk or ink.
