Happy Birthday Door Sign

This sign lets the world know that there's a birthday kid in your house.  Fiskars circle punches and Cloud 9 Rain Dots add a fun detail to the party hat design.

Instructions (Print version)

  1. Paint plaque with green acrylic paint.
  2. Trim polka dot paper to 7inx10in and tear on all sides.  Adhere to the wood plaque with the reverse side showing.
  3. Spell out “happy birthday” with alphabet stickers at the bottom of the green paper.
  4. Trim a large triangle from the stripe paper.
  5. Punch medium circles and large circles from sparkle circles paper.  Adhere to the striped triangle and machine stitch in place.
  6. Trim a strip from the striped paper and edge with pinking edgers.  Attach to the bottom of the triangle with the reverse side (blue) showing.
  7. Machine stitch around triangle and adhere to green paper
  8. Cut 4 strips of striped ribbon and fold into tabs. Attach to the top of the triangle and layer chipboard heart over them.
  9. Randomly place Rain Dots on the triangle.
