Add instant texture to your layout with one of my favorite tools – the paper crimper.  Crimping a photo matte – as I did in this layout – is an easy way to achieve this look!  Hearts trimmed with the Ultra ShapeXpress add another dimensional element on top of the crimped matte.

Instructions (Print version)

  1. Trim Pink Dotted side of Large Cute Cakes paper down to 8.5x11 to use as base of page.
  2. Trim pink cardstock to 7.5x10 and matte in center of dotted paper.
  3. Trim 5x12 piece of green cardstock and run through paper crimper.  This will be the photo matte.  Trim to 5x8.75.
  4. Matte photo near bottom of green crimped matte.  Adhere piece of ribbon across bottom of photo.  Attach 2 flowers to side of ribbon with brads, and embellish with small pink chipboard heart.
  5. Use Ultra ShapeXpress tool to trim two 2 inch hearts from dotted paper.
  6. Use Ultra ShapeXpress tool to trim one 3 inch heart from solid pink cardstock.
  7. Arrange hearts over photo and adhere, using foam adhesive to adhere the dotted hearts.
  8. Place title stickers along left side of photo and in center pink heart.
