Easter basketClick image to enlarge Designed by: Lisa Falduto This year why not have your child create their very own Easter basket that they can leave in a special spot for the Easter bunny to fill to the brim for them? The Easter bunny can even hide their basket so they can find it on their own. Or better yet the Easter bunny can hide eggs everywhere sending your child on an Easter egg hunt! They carry the basket the made along with them and fill it up with plastic eggs full of Easter treasure! If you don't know any children then you can make these yourself and donate them to a shelter or other charitable organization that will make sure they get to children in your community who otherwise may not receive an Easter basket. Just think of the possibilities... I believe that crafting is a fun way to spend time with your child, while teaching them valuable skills in the process. Kids are often overwhelmed by academics and need time to use their brains in different ways to become creative and critical thinkers. By offering your child plenty of creative time they gain this skill. Sometimes it is fun just to hand them a pile of materials and let them create whatever comes to mind! There are so many inexpensive ways to craft with your child. For this Easter basket I spend $1.00 on this oval bucket at a dollar store. you could use a variety of things from an ice cream pail, a shoe box, or whatever else will make for a cute basket! The other items I used were all things I already had at home for my own crafting purposes. Difficulty rating
