  • 1” jump rings
  • Large Brad

Instructions (Print version)

1.  To create pages for the Journal.  Using the Ultra ShapeXpress cut 10 of the 4.5” x 6.5” large rectangle.  Score in half, punch 3 1/8” holes.  You now have 20 pages to your Journal.

 

2.  For the Cover, Cut a 5”x7” rectangle, out of the Heidi Grace Large Stripe.  You will need to trim the cover 1/4” off the top and the bottom.  Cut a 3.5” Circle out of the Heidi Grace Words paper.   Attach the Circle closer to the right side of the rectangle.  Set your first score line at 3.25” and the second at 3.75”, this will give you a 1/2” binding. Set three 1/8” holes on each side of the binding.

 

3.  Place each folded rectangles on top of each other, and set inside of the cover.  Place rings thru the holes.

 

4.  Print your journal title, and tab labels on vellum.  Cut out Journal title and attach to cover.  Set brad thru the center of flower and attach to the cover.

 

5.  Cut your tabs out of 1” circles, also cut 4 1” circles out of the “word” paper, place the vellum label tabs on top of the paper circles, place onto Journal pages.
