Claudine Hellmuth is a collage artist, author and illustrator. She combines photos, paint, paper & pen into quirky, whimsical-retro collages that she calls PoppetsĀ®.

Her artworks have been featured on The Martha Stewart Show, HGTV's "I Want That" and the DIY Network's program, "Craft Lab".

With Ranger Industries, Claudine created a line of artist quality paints and mediums under the brand name of Claudine Hellmuth Studio. She has also written 3 books and produced 3 instructional DVDs about her techniques.

In addition to her work as an illustrator, Claudine's creates custom artworks for clients combining family photos with her unique style of collage.

Claudine has created not only a unique decor project for us featuring her sticky back canvas, but there is also an attached template so that you can create your own exactly like this one!

Instructions (Print version)

First, print out your photos onto Claudine Hellmuth Studio Sticky-Back canvas using this house template I created for you.
Cut out the house shape following the lines on the template with your Fiskars scissors.

As you fold it into shape, note that you will have this extra tab leftover.
Lift up the Sticky Back Canvas from the paper backing. DO NOT remove it all. Remove just enough to slide the tab in and then secure it together.
Stand up your house - looking cute already! Now it just needs a roof!
Use template or simply fold a piece of paper for your roof. I used a printed index card.
Place the roof  on your photo house and enjoy!!
Note: using the corner rounder or perhaps a scallop border punch (like scallop sentiment) could be very cute along the roof edge.
