Got Sketch Blog: http://gotsketch.blogspot.com With the holidays comes lots of photos taken. I chose to do a 2-page layout of my kids opening presents on Christmas morning. This example uses 4 x 5.5 size photos, but uncropped 4 x 6 photos will also work great. I use a great deal of circle shapes to break up the straight lines of this double-pager. Tip: The Ultra ShapeXpress and the circle template is used to create the large rings. When creating the rings, cut out the smaller circle (3.5") first, then go back over it and cut the larger circle (4"). Difficulty rating
Instructions (Print version)
LEFT PAGE: - Use kraft-colored cardstock as the page background. - Place (3) photos horizontally. - Trim and add strips above the photos as shown. - Add the large flower and title. - Cut out 4-inch rings as follows: (2) reds, (1) green. Then cut them in half. Set one set of halves aside for the Right Page. - Adhere the half-rings below the photos. - Add 2" circles below each photo and adhere accents on each.
RIGHT PAGE: - Use kraft-colored cardstock as the page background. - Place (3) photos vertically. - Trim and add strips to the left of the photos as shown. - Adhere remaining half-rings to the right of the photos. - Add 2" circles to the right of each photo and adhere accents on it. - Write journaling & place it as shown.
