card & tagClick image to enlarge Designer: Patti Milazzo I’ve loved using the Stamp Factory for paper projects but thought it’d be fun to put it to the test! I was curious to see if it would work well with stamping other mediums. So for this thank you card and tag, I used the Stamp Factory along with Fiskars new “Gracias” stamp set to stamp on paperclay. And just as I guessed, it worked great! The key is to roll out the clay very thin and when stamping to not apply too much pressure. Once the clay is half way dry use your tools to cut the shapes desired. For my projects I used my Shape Template and Swivel Craft Knife to cut the circle and used Pinking Shears to trim the edges of the flower vase embellishment. Note: The clay takes a day or two to dry so plan your projects accordingly. Also, place a flat weighted object on top of the clay as it’s drying if you see any curling or warping. Once your paperclay pieces are dry, color with watercolors, paint or colored pencils. Add glitter or seal with a clear finish. Add adhesive to the back of your pieces and apply to cards or scrapbook pages. ![]() Difficulty rating
