December 2008 cardClick image to enlarge Designer: Katrina Simeck I love the look of homespun Christmas cards. These patchwork pattern cards are a great way to make use of patterned paper scraps, and are a fun way to use Fiskars Seasonal Squeeze Punches. The design is easy to adapt to any theme – just change up the colors & paper choices! Difficulty rating
Instructions (Print version) ![]() ![]() ![]() 1. Use a 5” x 10” piece of cardstock folded in half to make a 5” x 5” square card. 2. Round the lower corners with the Fiskars Round the Bend squeeze punch. 3. For each card, you’ll need to punch 8 scalloped squares using the Fiskars Square-a-licious squeeze punch. You may want to alternate between patterned paper and cardstock. 4. Adhere the squares in a grid pattern on the card base, leaving the middle square blank. 5. Punch a scalloped heart out of cardstock using the Fiskars My Funny Valentine squeeze punch. Adhere to center of card. 6. Punch shapes for 4 outside squares (I used the Fiskars Sugar & Spice and Fiskars Happy Holly Days squeeze punches). Adhere with foam adhesive. 7. Paint chipboard letters & adhere to center of card to create message.
