Butterfly Pencil

Let your kids' imagination soar by creating a fun pencil decoration!

• Required supplies:
• 10" of 20 gauge gold wire
• Pencil
• Glue Pen
• Blac

Instructions (Print version)

1. Fold yellow card stock and trace one 1.00 heart with point 1/4" beyond fold. Unfold. Repeat. Fold orange card stock and trace one 1.25 heart with point 1/4" beyond fold. Unfold. Repeat. Punch six circles with hand punch.
2. Glue one yellow shape to one orange shape. Place on black card stock and trace 1/4" larger than orange shape. Cut. Glue orange to black to make one butterfly. Repeat to make second butterfly.
3. Glue three blue circles to centers of both butterflies.
4. Wrap wire around top of pencil leaving 1" straight. Glue straight wire to back of one butterfly. Glue second butterfly to first with wire in between.
