Instructions (Print version)

Front Cover Instructions:

1. Measure your album cover and insert pages to find out what size you will be working with.  Cut the base paper to size and go ahead and back it with whatever paper you’ll want on the inside cover (I used Reagan’s Closet Décor Words).
2. Decorate the front by adding horizontal strips of contrasting/coordinating papers.  The green strips were punched with the Threading Water border punch and then stitched along the seam once they were attached.
3. Corner round the two outside (right side) corners with the Round the Corner Squeeze Punch and go ahead and insert the page into the cover for now.
TIP:  The fun part of this type of album is that you can embellish the insert page as well as adding embellishments to the OUTSIDE of the cover.
4. Add two Heidi Grace glittered flowers/gems to the outside of the cover just below and to the right of the BFF letters.
5. Use the Eyelet Setter tool to punch two holes in the center of the binding of the ablum.  Tie a ribbon through the holes and tie a bow on the outside.  Attach two jump rings to the top of the bow.
6. Use the Tool Taxi glue wand to add little dots of glue around the circular chipboard accent.  Punch a hole in the accent with the Eyelet Setter tool and attach a jump ring to connect the piece to the jump rings on the bow.

1st Inside Spread instructions:

1. The base of the first side of the inside cover is already done.  Complete this look by adding a square of blue paper and a chipboard accent and punched border (with the Threading Water border punch) at the bottom.
2. Add your BFF’s monogram  to the center with the Boxcars Chipped Designs.  Write descriptive words within the letter for a fun touch.

3. Facing Page:  Cut Décor Words paper to size and round outside (right side) corners with the Round the Corner Squeeze Punch.
4. Trim photo and add a journaling block flush to bottom of photo (zig zag stitching is optional).
TIP:  Add a journaling pen to this gift and let your friend fill in some of the blanks with his/her memories.
5. Insert page into album and add Chipped Design (crown) to the outside of the page for dimension.

2nd Spread Instructions:

1. Print wallet size photos with white borders.  Trim at an angle and adhere flush to edges of purple (Imperial Pier Glazed Cardstock) patterned paper backgrounds.  Insert pages into album.
2. Add the remaining embellishments on the outside of the pages (glittered flowers/gems and Chipped Alphas).
TIPS:  On this type of album, use thick embellishments sparingly as they will really bulk up the finished project.  Create the insert pages using flat accents and then you’ll know how many thicker embellishments you can add once you’ve got the pages all inserted.
