Best Wishes Spring Flower Card

- Required supplies:
- Yellow cardstock with a white core by Die Cuts with a View
- Fiskars Tape Runner
- Green patterned paper by Anna Griffin
- Fiskars ScrapBoss Embossing System
- Fiskars 12” x 12” Sampler Stencil Set
- “Best Wishes” rubber stamp by Stampendous!
- Sewing machine and white thread
- Fabric wrapped stem wire
- Other: 1” white sheer ribbon, white eyelets, Pink and yellow chalk, pink buttons, Green stamping ink, White string, sandpaper, foam mounting tape
- Pink and white cardstock
Instructions

- Create a 5” x 7” card from pink cardstock.
- Cut a piece of white cardstock slightly smaller than front of card.
- Chalk edges with yellow and adhere to front of card.
- Cut a piece of green patterned paper 4 ¼” x 6 ½”.
- Use the Elegant Fountain Embossing Border Punch to punch along top and bottom edge of green piece (4 ¼” sides). Adhere to front of card.
- Using a sewing machine and white thread, sew a straight stitch around the green piece sewing just under the punching.
- Use the eyelet setter and set a white eyelet in each corner of the green piece.
- Use the ScrapBoss Embossing System and the Sampler Stencil Set and emboss three yellow cardstock flowers.
- Cut around the flowers approximately 1/8” from embossing.
- Lightly sand flowers to distress.
- Thread pink buttons with white string and adhere one to the center of each flower.
- Cut several lengths of green fabric wire and curl in several places and flatten out to create flower stems.
- Tie a piece of white sheer ribbon to each stem and trim ends.
- Adhere a flower to the top of each stem and adhere stems and flowers to front of card.
- Stamp sentiment with green ink onto white cardstock.
- Tear around sentiment and chalk edges with pink. Adhere to front of card with foam mounting squares.
