A fresh loaf of homemade bread wrapped in a pretty kitchen towel can say so many things and “hello” is one of them! “Hello” can be for a new neighbor, a new baby, a teacher, a friend...this is a very versatile gift. Make at least two – you’re going to want to keep one! TIP: Pick up kitchen towels on clearance when you see them so you’ll have a variety of colors and patterns to choose from when you want to do something quick but special like this for someone!

Instructions:
1. Cut patterned paper to 3” X 6” and fold in half. Cut white cardstock to 2 ½” X 2 ½” and adhere to card.
2. Punch 5 circles and adhere. Stitch onto card.
3. Stamp sentiment just above circles.
4. Adhere dimensional flowers.
5. Punch circle in top left-hand corner and tie on.

Recipe:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 1/3 cups mashed overripe bananas

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.

Everyone gets that “empty” feeling sometimes – especially when it comes to needing a cookie or three. This little bucket of cookies is cute, fun, easy, and refillable! On the inside of the card, tell your recipient that you will bake more cookies for him or her when these are gone – it’s the gift that keeps on giving!

Instructions:
Bucket -
1. Cut three circles: solid brown 3”, kraft 3”, white 2 ¼”. Adhere the white to the kraft and edge around the kraft with the Corkscrew paper edger. Adhere these to the brown circle. Stamp a red question mark on the white circle and add rub-ons that say “time 4 a cookie break.” Adhere brown circle to bucket with Adhesive Foam.
2. Stack cookies in a clear party favor bag and tie with ribbon.
3. Refill with new cookies as necessary.
Card –
1. Cut a piece of kraft cardstock to 3” X 12”, fold in half to make card.
2. Cut solid brown cardstock to 5 ½” X 2 ½”, adhere, machine stitch with red thread.
3. Cut solid white cardstock to 2” X 4 ¼”. Using the Compact Stamp Press, stamp a red fuel tank and surround it with black fuel tanks, adhere.
4. Stamp a car on Castaway patterned paper, cut out. Adhere with Adhesive Foam and add black Rain Dots on the headlights.
5. Adhere Epoxy Sticker letters.
6. Tuck into bucket for your cookie recipient.

Recipe:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 cups  chocolate chips
2 cups oats
1 teaspoon vanilla

Sift flour with salt and soda.
Cream shortening and sugars; beat in eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Stir in sifted dry ingredients, oats, and chocolate chips. Drop chocolate chip cookie batter by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake chocolate chip cookies in a preheated 350° oven for about 10 to 12 minutes; cool on racks.
