Baby Duck Card

- Required supplies:
- White cardstock and Aqua and yellow cardstock with a white core (from Die Cuts with a View)
- Fiskars ScrapBoss Embossing System
- Fiskars 12” x 12” Themed Baby Stencil Set
- Yellow and aqua chalk
- Yellow gingham ribbon and yellow safety pins
- White terry cloth, foam tape, sandpaper, and tape runner
- Fiskars Bubbles Texture Plate Energy
Instructions
(Print version)
- Create a 5” square card from white cardstock.
- Chalk edges with yellow.
- Use the Texturing Tool and Bubbles Texture Plate and emboss a 4 ½” square piece of aqua cardstock. Lightly sand to reveal images and adhere to front of card.
- Emboss several ½” strips of aqua with bubbles, sand, chalk edges and adhere on foam tape across the upper right corner.
- Use the ScrapBoss Embossing System and the Themed Baby Stencil Set and emboss the duck on yellow cardstock.
- Cut out duck about 1/8” away from embossing and lightly sand to reveal image.
- Emboss a separate wing and bill from yellow, cut out and sand. Mount on foam tape on duck for added dimension.
- Adhere duck to front of card.
- Place a piece of terry cloth across bottom of card.
- Emboss sentiment using the CardBoss Baby Stencil Set onto a piece of aqua cardstock and sand. Place on center of cloth piece.
- Knot pieces of ribbon and place at sides of word strip.
- Place a safety pin through each ribbon.
