Autumn Home Decor

This simple home décor item is a festive addition with autumn on its way.  I found the 3-in-1 Embossing Corner Punch to be a great way to add beautiful detail to this project.  The “embunched” designs were clean and crisp but best of all is how each punch includes 3 designs.  Lots of variety in 1 tool....gotta love that!

Instructions (Print version)

  1. Cut 3 - 3 ¼” square pieces of chipboard and 1- 4” x 12” piece of chipboard.
  2. Cut 6 – 2” pieces of ribbon; and adhere to chipboard pieces so that squares will hang evenly.
  3. Cut 1- 18” piece of ribbon; tie a small bow in the center; insert Epoxy Brad and secure; attach ribbon to upper top corners of large chipboard.
  4. Set aside chipboard foundation.
  5. Shape Cut shapes and letters for title; ink if desired.
  6. Cut 4” x 12” piece of Floral Daisy Strip; ink edges of solid side.
  7. Cut 3” x 11 ½” piece of Botanical Garden; Embunch 4 corners (orange side up) with largest design; ink edges and adhere to center of Floral Daisy Stripe solid.
  8. Machine stitch around border of Embunched rectangle; Adhere piece to large chipboard piece.
  9. Adhere letters for title and apply 3D Gel Stickers.
  10. Cut 3 – 3 ¼” pieces of Garden Plaid (cream side); ink edges and adhere to 3 chipboard squares.
  11. Cut 3 – 3” pieces of Garden Plaid; Embunch corners as shown using smallest design; ink edges and adhere onto cream covered chipboard squares.
  12. Adhere shapes (leaves & acorns) to squares and apply 3D Gel Stickers as shown.
