Heart & Frame Ornaments

If you are like me, the Holidays can be hectic and stressful…and when you have little kids, they want to be involved in everything you do! I put together these quick and simple ornaments using the Heidi Grace glitter chipboard shapes and stickers. My kids even helped me by attaching the stickers and then we hung them on the tree together. I always have grand plans to make a bunch of handmade ornaments for my tree, but it never happens! These were quick  and simple and we plan on making more for our tree.

Ornaments Instructions:

1.       Remove large chipboard heart from chipboard sheet. Using the craft drill with an old magazine underneath, drill two holes in the top of heart.

2.       String ribbon through the holes and adhere to the back of chipboard.

3.       Adhere flower chipboard and sticker as shown. Run decorative pin under the sticker.

Frame Ornament Instructions:

1.       Paint base of frame with green acrylic paint.

2.       Cut piece of cardstock large enough to fit across the open portion of frame. Cut three straight edges and one scalloped edge using the Fiskars scalloped scissors. Add desired letter stickers and adhere to frame.

3.       tie a piece of ribbon around the right side of frame and stick 2 decorative pins through the center.

4.       Adhere chipboard heart and the letters for JOY to the frame.

5.       Adhere photo to the back of frame, and add a small loop of ribbon to the back to attach to tree.
