Rub-On Ornament

I like to keep my Christmas tree ornaments pretty simple. Usually, I only decorate our tree with lights and glass ornaments in silver. This year, I wanted to make a few colorful decorations with my girls, and this simple glass ornament is perfect. Just buy a few glass ornaments, some paint, and use your rub-on and ribbon stash to create this elegant Christmas ornament. Try mixing paint colors and make a few to hang in the windows as well. These ornaments will brighten all your dark December days!

Take the top off the glass ornament and pour some paint into the glass ball. Swirl it around until the inside is covered with paint.

When the paint has dried, add rub-ons to the outside of the glass ornament. The rubons are easier to put on if you cut out small pieces from the sheet and add one flower at the time.

When the globe is completely covered, add the top to the glass ornament. Tie ribbons to the loop at the top.

Hang in tree or window!
