mini albums [make ahead halloween album]
By Amy Sullivan
As a scrapbooker, I take pictures of every event, big and small, as well as all of the little things in between. The problem is I’m not much of an ‘event scrapper’. I take photos at every birthday and holiday and event, but I tend to scrap more of the little things because those are the things that mean the most to me. However that doesn’t mean I want to ignore the event photos so I’ve decided to make mini-albums for holidays and birthdays—something quick and easy that I can make ahead of time and then, after the event, just add the photos. This is a Halloween mini-album for this Halloween. I will print the photos wallet-sized and add 3-5 per spread and then handwrite the details on the journaling tags I already have ready to go (‘who’ did each of my kids go trick or treating with, ‘what’ was this year’s costume, ‘when’ did they go—after school, in the evening, was it a weekend night so they could hit every house in the neighborhood?--, and ‘where’ did they go—our neighborhood, just our street, a friend’s neighborhood). Already I’m loving this idea!
