mini albums [costume review]

Lately, my daughters have asked me about Halloween costumes they’ve worn throughout the years. What better way to show them than in a mini album? Now we have a space to document each year’s costume. But remember to go beyond the close up photos. Looking back at the old photos, we all loved seeing a little bit more than just the costume, so I deliberately chose photos that included friends and family, preschool yards and school parades. I created the mini album by folding a piece of 12 x 12 cardstock in half and then accordion folding it. I cut/trimmed each pocket differently using circle templates, paper shapers and tearing. To separate the pockets I wanted to create, I stitched the edges of the pockets. Inside each pocket is a tag for journaling. The mini album is embellished with patterned paper, stickers, rub-ons and chipboard stickers by Heidi Grace Designs.
