Fabric Scrap Belt

By [fiskars 15] Susan Weinroth

*Gather a bunch of fabric scraps to create a unique belt that can make your oldest pair of jeans look fun and fresh! 1. Trim various fabric scraps so that they are 5 inches in width. The length of each scrap is up to you! 2. Pin together scraps and machine stitch. Iron seams open. 3. Continue with step #2 until belt is at the total length desired. 4. Use iron to fold and crease sides of belt fabric inward .75 inch on each side. 5. Then use iron to fold belt in half lengthwise so that finished belt will be 1.75 inches wide. 6. Machine topstitch along open edge of belt, thus stitching closed. 7. Finish belt ends by folding in on a 45 degree angle and machine topstitching.

Your local drug store or even grocery sulohd have a simple fool proof sharpener for under ten dollars. since fiskars are somewhat expensive, I think a cheap sharpener would be a good Idea. Remember not to try and sharpen the serrated edge, you would do more harm than good.
