Duck, Duck, Goose

This is a LO of my three backyard hens. In order to emulate the sketch without having a single larger photo, I cropped down two smaller photos, so that the two together made up a 5x7 size. I matted them onto yellow, which the green popped against nicely, and then on to green, to match all that beautiful grass in the photos. I pen-stitched around the edges. I then took the other two photo's, and cropped them to size, matting them only on to yellow-the green was used only on the main photo's to draw attention. The quote I used on the side was from a coach :In a bacon-and-eggs breakfast, the chicken is involved, but the pig is commited." -Billicks This was placed using a wavy lines journalling template. The journalling around the main photo's says "Yes, I really do have a chicken named Duck, another chicken named Duck, and the big one is Goose!" The background CS s caft-paper-look-a-like to give it a little bit of a 'country' feel. The title was cut on my die-cutting machine. The three brads on the side are Heidi Grace. The tag was copied from online somewhere, and edged in black marker. The chicken and flowers on the tag are stickers. The fibers are from a large assortment I got through a random swap.
