Door Hanger for Kids

1. Cut 3 ½” x 10” piece of paper; round bottom corners with Corner Squeeze Punch. *Optional to round top of door hanger. 2. Shape cut 2 ½” circle from top center, approximately 1 ½” from the top of hanger. *NOTE: back patterned paper with cardstock or light weight chipboard to make more sturdy.* 3. To create traffic light, Squeeze Punch 3 – Medium Circles from red, green and yellow cardstock; adhere to 1” x 2 ½” strip of black cardstock and adhere to door hanger. 4. To create car, cut 2.5” x 3” oval from Oval Shape Template and trim ¼” from top and bottom. 5. Cut ¼” x 3” strip of yellow cardstock and glue along bottom of car “body”. 6. Squeeze Punch 2 – Medium Circles from black cardstock for wheels; Pop-Up Punch 2 circles from white cardstock and adhere in center of black circles. 7. Hand punch 2- ¼” black circles; adhere to center of white and adhere finished wheels to bottom of car. 8. Pop-Up Punch 1 circle from white cardstock; trim small piece off to use as “headlight”. 9. Squeeze Punch 1 Bracket from white cardstock and adhere to back of car at angle as “windshield”. 10. Squeeze Punch 1 May Flower from black cardstock; trim off all but longest petals and adhere to back of car at an angle as the “steering wheel”. 11. Adhere finished paper pieced car to lower part of door hanger. 12. Apply letter stickers as shown.
